Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was a student at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She took a course in harpsichord as well as the flautist piano for three years. Lennox's budget was increased by a stipend for students and part-time jobs. Lennox was not content with her abilities compared to the other students at the Royal Academy and began looking for alternative paths. Lennox performed flute in the band Dragons Playground. But she quit prior to her group being invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent contest New Faces. She was the main vocalist for The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to the year 1980. In this band, she got to know Dave Stewart and together they created their duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her first solo album Diva and it was released by 1992. The album was an enormous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album came out in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tunes. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox has released Lepidoptera a collection of four improvised piano tracks. This E.P. The E.P. is her first self-produced album as well as a follow-up to the art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You go...
